Artist bio
The Norwegian melodic power metal «duo» Eldkling, was originally comprised of two metal-loving buddies originally from Sarpsborg Norway. Their first attempt of making music based around a common love of various things metal, resulted in the Ravenlord project. Trying to breathe life into some of their old material, and some new ideas, the debut album The End of Eternity came to life. Although rough around the edges, it had a positive reception. Thematically borrowing a lot from the Ravenlord project. After its release in February 2023 the duo started work on new music. The goal was to create a more cohesive musical statement while keeping true to their roots. The result is the album Scenes of the Deranged released June 2024. Themes revolve more around the human psyche, being the duo not being quite right in the head themselves..
In 2025 the two buddies were joined by 2 new members, Tom and Bart, to form a live setup and also starting their 3rd studio album "Nine Lives"
