Eric Johanson Sunday, October 25, 2026, 1 PM Matinee Rams Head On Stage 33 West St, Annapolis, MD 21401 (410) 268-4545 New Orleans–based Eric Johanson blends sharp songwriting with a deep connection to the guitar, creating music that’s dynamic, soulful, and rooted in a mix of rock, blues, and modern influences. Johanson broke out with his #1 Billboard Blues album The Deep and the Dirty, then followed it last year with his sixth Top 10 charting release, Live In Mississippi, capturing the fire of a stage show that’s been packing rooms across the U.S. and Europe. Named one of Guitar Player Magazine’s “25 Best New Blues Guitarists” and one of the “Greatest Blues Guitarists of All Time” by Total Guitar, Johanson delivers modern blues-rock with grit, power, and raw electricity. As American Songwriter puts it, he “displays his guitar prowess but within the borders of melodies and lyrics that push the boundaries of blues/rock… searing guitar work, and persuasive songwriting.”
