Biografía del artista
Guajirón is a nine-piece Cuban dance band from San Francisco’s Mission District, playing Son, Charanga, Guaracha, Boleros and Tropical Jazz. We bring high-energy, positive grooves that get you moving and leave your worries behind.
Formed in 2023 with musicians from Cuba, Brazil, Italy, the Philippines and California, our punchy arrangements reinvent beloved Cuban classics that have been making people feel good since the 1930s, in the Caribbean, Latin America and beyond.
Every show is different, from dance heavy hot salsa parties, to good-time grooves anyone can move to, to thoughtful and inspiring Tropical and Cuban Jazz.
