The Midnight Current

Formed in Minneapolis in 2024, The Midnight Current is a three-piece rock band built on tension between
chaos and control, noise and intention. Blending psychedelic rock with blues grit and folk sensibility, their
sound is equal parts instinct and precision - it’s loud, deliberate, and hard to pin down.

Their songs swing between playful and cutting, taking on love, nature, self-confidence, and the absurdity of
modern social conventions without settling into one lane for long. There’s humor in it, but also a refusal to
look away.

Frontman Andy Caron leads with sharp songwriting and a vocal delivery that shifts from intimate to
unhinged. Bassist Cody Bryan pushes melodic lines to the front, blurring rhythm and lead, while drummer
Andrew Teunis holds it all together in the pocket as the band stretches and reshapes songs in real time.

Known for improvisation and raw interplay, The Midnight Current treats structure as a starting point, not a
boundary. Their debut album Swell Sounds captures that push and pull, but the band is at its core: loud,
unpredictable, and fully alive on stage.
