A Singer and Songwriter out of Carthage, Texas, Brandon Rhyder grew up singing in church, where his voice, even then stood out. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Texas at Tyler, earning a degree in Industrial Technology and in his senior year he discovered the guitar and began writing songs. He moved to Austin in 1999 and quickly became part of the emerging Texas Country Music Scene. Releasing his first record in 2001, Rhyder has released a total of 9 studio albums with 3 of them charting on Billboard Country Albums (the 2008 release of “Every Night” peaked at # 53, the 2010 release of “Head Above Water” debuted at # 41 and the 2013 release of “That’s Just Me” reached # 62). His albums have been produced by hit-makers ranging from Walt Wilkins to Radney Foster and they all have showcased Rhyder’s dynamic and unmistakable voice. He has had a total of 4 # 1 songs on The Texas Country Music Chart with many other songs that have reached the Top 10 and 20. In July of 2017, Rhyder released a self-titled album, which featured a duet with Grammy Award Winning Singer Lori McKenna called “They Need Each Other”. The album was produced by Walt Wilkins and features 10 brand new songs 6 of which were written or co-written by Rhyder.
