Bluewater Creek

Bluewater Creek is an Americana band rooted in Lake County, Illinois, shaped by the stories, harmonies, and musical friendships that brought them together. Fronted by vocalist Heather Moran, the group blends heartfelt songwriting with warm, lived-in musicianship that feels both fresh and familiar.

Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Stan Dembowski brings the heart of the band’s original material, crafting songs that reflect real lives and real landscapes. Mike Ryan anchors the group with expressive, melodic bass playing that gives every tune its pulse and sway. On guitar and fiddle, Christopher Grant adds depth and color—sometimes driving, sometimes haunting, always intentional. And behind the kit, Sal Canzone brings an easy, natural groove that ties the whole sound together.

Together, Bluewater Creek creates a rich Americana blend of storytelling, acoustic textures, and genuine chemistry—the kind of band that feels just as at home on a festival stage as they do in an intimate listening room.
