Isaac Sloane & The Sound Brigade

2024 and 2025 Dallas Entertainment Awards “Best Blues group” nominee/Isaac Sloane & The Sound Brigade is a 6 piece psychedelic jazz infused blues/rock n' roll band out of Denton, Texas. Formed in October of 2021, the group has quickly become a local favorite in the scene with their unique blend of in-your-face ground shaking rock n' roll, and soulful blues with elements of virtuosic jazz. With consistent festival appearances and landing opening slots for such acts as Blues legend J.D. Simo, up and coming country star Angel White , Dallas troubadours Ottoman Turks, jam band legends Perpetual Groove and Texas music icon Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears showcasing their virtuoso ability to genre bend and hang with any style on stage. Thanks to powerful electric live shows the band has developed a loyal following. The band is comprised of Michael Peterson and Donicio Trujillo on saxophone, Jake Kerley on keys, Anthony Peterson on drums and his brother Michael Peterson (yes there are two!) on bass. Band leader and guitarist/vocalist Isaac Sloane rounds out the powerhouse group writing songs that call back to the days of Cream , Led Zeppelin , Mountain , Chicago , Blood, Sweat & Tears , and Jimi Hendrix with a modern and unique twist to the classic hard hitting sound of the late 60s and early 70s.
