Formed in 1987 in Boulder, Colorado, The Samples quickly rose to national prominence, launching their first tour in 1988 and establishing a signature sound that seamlessly blends reggae, rock and folk. With a career spanning nearly four decades, the band has built a lasting legacy, releasing over 20 albums across both independent and major labels, earning placements in films, documentaries, Netflix series, and MSNBC election coverage.
Lead singer and frontman Sean Kelly has remained the driving force behind The Samples, preserving the heart and integrity of the music.
