SLIFT

Never miss this band live. Never. As great as their recordings are, and they are definitely great, their live show is life altering!. Saw them here in Chicago and the first note, the very first note was a complete wall of sound. The next 90 minutes was building and release that sometimes went beyond release to relentless pummeling. They seem like they're synced telepathically. They are not only musically tight, but they also seem to move like they're part of a group mind. My only regret is that I wasn't tripping acid.
