Lydia Saint George, is an 18 year old singer-songwriter from North Carolina, recognized for her unique blend of contemporary folk, southern gothic and alternative pop.

As a child, Lydia encountered life differently than others her own age. She felt deeper thoughts, interpreted words more profoundly, and heard music in a powerful way that shaped her soul. Recognizing her uniqueness, her parents bought a keyboard when she was 5 years old.
It was love at first sight: Lydia taught herself to play piano by ear, and began dabbling with any and every instrument she could get her hands on, eventually teaching herself to play guitar. Instrumentation turned to poetry, which led to writing songs beginning at 14 years old. Armed with a notebook of over 30 originals, she was given the opportunity to record demos in a friend's studio. This experience allowed for discovering another passion: producing and experimenting with sound on a deeper level. A magnificent talent cannot be hidden, so shortly after her first recording session, Lydia began to perform at live events and cultivated a fan base who connected with her exquisite voice and captivating stage presence. She has had the pleasure of working with award winning producers and songwriters and performing in many venues, including a Jeff Buckley Tribute in Chicago.
