Raised in a household with Deaf parents, SHEENA's early years were filled with a unique fascination for sound and music. As a proud user of American Sign Language (ASL) as her first language, SHEENA’s innovative approach to songwriting embraces ASL as a powerful medium of expression, breaking down barriers and fostering inclusivity within the music industry. Her upbringing ignited a lifelong passion for musical expression, leading her to immerse herself in the art of singing and songwriting from a young age. With an innate talent for playing by ear.
Her music can be described as indie folk. Characterized by her pure and authentic voice, her singing style is earnest and sincere, creating a heartfelt listening experience.
