After a 3 year hiatus from releasing music, Chloe & the Steel Strings are living out a new creative renaissance. Lead vocalist Chloe Wagenhauser and bassist Connor Ward began writing and recording eight songs from their living room in Toledo, Ohio, during the COVID-19 stay at home order.
Inspired by life, the major national events of 2020, and a motivation to create music with a feeling of hope, they crafted their most recent release ‘Burn Bright’ with keyboardist Anna Wagenhauser, lead guitarist Eric Stuehr, and drummer Cody Podsiadlo. Acoustically driven, the band’s music has remnants of singer-songwriter mellowness, romantic Americana authenticity, and a dash of psychedelic headspace.
