Join us at Satellite ATX for a special evening of soulful grooves and funky instrumental vibes as Boogaloo Groove steps into their Organ Trio configuration - a deep digging, rhythm forward version of the band that explores the gritty textures of vintage jazz/funk, with tight, in-the-pocket improvisation and rich harmonic layers.
This set leans into the classic Organ Trio sound. Think swirling Hammond organ, syncopated guitar riffs, and deep pocket drums, all grounded in the same funky, Latin tinged spirit and high level musicianship Boogaloo Groove is known for. With influences ranging from Jimmy Smith to Soulive, this version of the band delivers a warm, groove heavy atmosphere perfect for fans of jazz, funk, and everything in between.
Enjoy the music while dining on scratch-made Texas fare and sipping craft cocktails at one of South Austin’s favorite full-service, family-friendly restaurants. No cover, just good vibes.

Take a musical trip around the world with this talented group of multi-instrumentalists! From classic Jazz to New Orleans style funk, and heart thumping Latin-infused dance music, fans enjoy our versatility and sophisticated sound.
This experimental groove project started out as a trio when a friend of Ari Dvorin needed some last minute music for a fundraiser benefiting Mike Martinez’s campaign for city council. This ensemble’s line up has changed slightly over the years but the music stays strong and will keep you on the dance floor.
Our musicians are world-schooled, having worked with esteemed recording artists including, Tito Puente, Michael Franti, Karl Denson, Cyril Neville, Maceo Parker, Marsha Ball and more.

Ari Dvorin – Saxophone, Flute, Vocals
Chantel Mead - Lead Vocals
Andy Rumelt - Organ/Keys, Harmonica & Vocals
Dan McGreevy - Drum Set
