Since touring with Ray Brown in early 2000s, pianist Larry Fuller has built a reputation as one of the hardest-swinging pianists on the scene. Fuller learned his craft the 'old school' way - on the bandstand in some of the most legendary jazz ensembles: The Ray Brown Trio, Jeff Hamilton Trio, John Pizzarelli Quartet, and as pianist/musical director for vocal giant Ernestine Anderson.
The NYC-based Larry Fuller Trio is known for its super-swinging, emotive style, and program versatility. In his programming, Fuller includes the Great American Songbook, jazz, blues, pop standards, and originals, always bringing his own take on the music. At Scullers, expect to hear anything from Oscar Peterson to Stevie Wonder, Wes Montgomery to Ray Brown, George Gershwin to Joni Mitchell - and much more.

Yamaha-endorsed artist, LARRY FULLER, is an internationally acclaimed jazz pianist, band leader, and clinician who is known by critics and fans to "swing like a beast!”.
Early in his career, Fuller’s undeniable talent earned him the position of musical director and pianist for vocalist Ernestine Anderson, pianist for renowned drummer Jeff Hamilton’s Trio, and final pianist in legendary bassist Ray Brown’s Trio. Fuller also toured and recorded with guitar-vocal giant John Pizzarelli.
Since 2013 - harnessing his extraordinary experience - Fuller has led the LARRY FULLER TRIO. He presents a musical program rarely experienced live today, consistently praised for his emotive, swinging style, monster technique, and program versatility.
