BLACK CROSS HOTEL

Emerging from a derelict warehouse buried in a back neighborhood of Chicago, Black Cross Hotel’s brand of industrial-strength post-punk stands firmly on sweat-soaked leather and concrete floors. Drawing influences from the golden days of neon, mighty riffs, and trax made of wax, one can’t help but simultaneously raise a fist and dance when listening to Hex, the band’s debut release that was summarized by the Chicago Reader as “a deep dive into the metaphorical underpinnings and outsider perspective baked into the horror genre.”
Featuring a broad shouldered lineup of Andrew Ragin (The Atlas Moth) on synths, guitarist Marcus Eliopulos (Stabbing Westward), bassist/producer Sanford Parker (Minsk, Corrections House), drummer Mike Miczek (Broken Hope, The Atlas Moth) and vocalist Dee DeEmme (Whipped), Black Cross Hotel has been relentlessly unleashing their brand of synth-driven metal and punk onto unsuspecting audiences all across the US.
Black Cross Hotel’s follow-up to Hex is expected to release in Fall 2025
