Biografía de The Joshua Band
The Joshua Band blends the soul of classic rock with a fresh, modern edge—delivering bold, Gospel-centered anthems that speak of redemption, grace, and the power of Jesus Christ. Formed in the summer of 2024, the band quickly gained momentum, growing organically to over 100,000 monthly listeners and more than 250,000 total listeners on Spotify in less than a year.
The band is a collaboration between longtime songwriter/guitarist Mathew Mossburg and acclaimed producer and musician Jason Hoard, known for his work with some of the biggest names in Christian music. Together, they craft songs that are raw, real, and relentlessly hopeful.
Releasing new music monthly and connecting with fans through live shows and social media, The Joshua Band continues to expand its reach. The lineup includes soulful co-lead vocalist Leah Johnston, a hippie at heart with a visceral and vulnerable delivery influenced by ‘90s alt rock; drummer Jeff Vomero, whose love for progressive bands like Rush adds a dimension not often heard in today’s rock; and bassist/vocalist Jason Cunningham, whose metal roots and passion for allegory draw inspiration from Christian legends like C.S. Lewis and Tolkien.
This is rock with a message—and a mission.
