Biografía de 96 Bitter Beings
96 Bitter Beings is the heavy rock project founded in 2016 by former CKY frontman Deron Miller. Named after CKY’s cult classic “96 Quite Bitter Beings,” the band carries Miller’s signature mix of heavy riffs and progressive melodies into a new era.
Their crowdfunded debut Camp Pain (2018) set the foundation, followed by Synergy Restored (2022) on Nuclear Blast, which expanded their sound with greater intensity and groove. In 2023, the band hit the road for the Infiltrate•Destroy•Rebuild Tour, performing CKY’s 2002 album in full alongside 96BB originals. The momentum continued with Return to Hellview (2024), a reimagined collection of CKY favorites with updated production. Most recently, in July 2025, the band released 96 Quite Bitter Beings 2025 through Distant Recordings—a new version of the track that gave the group its name—featuring Miller with Cameron Dewald (bass), Tuomas Vuorio (drums), and Matt Sheehan (synths).
With each release, 96 Bitter Beings has built a catalog that bridges past and present, balancing nostalgia with new creative drive. Their music continues to resonate with longtime CKY fans while carving out a distinct identity of its own.
Today, the lineup consists of Deron Miller, Cameron Dewald, and Tuomas Vuorio.
