MY FIRST STORY

Formed in the summer of 2011 in Shibuya, Tokyo, MY FIRST STORY quickly gained attention for their wide-ranging musical style and dynamic live performances. They steadily built their reputation through appearances at major festivals across Japan and collaborations with international artists.

In 2016, they released their fourth album ANTITHESE, which debuted at No. 4 on the Oricon Weekly Chart — their highest ranking to date. With the album in hand, the band embarked on a nationwide tour covering all 47 prefectures of Japan. The final show was held at the prestigious Nippon Budokan, drawing a sold-out crowd of 12,000.

To commemorate their 10th anniversary in 2022, they released a fan-requested best album titled X. In 2023, they launched both a year-long series of monthly music releases and a nationwide 47-prefecture tour — their first in seven years. In November, they hosted the highly anticipated “VS” concert event at Tokyo Dome, performing alongside ONE OK ROCK.

Their 2021 release I'm a mess gained renewed popularity, surpassing 200 million total streams. The track also earned lead vocalist Hiro the Lyricist Award at the 2023 Japan Record Awards.
