The King Stan Band Biography
The King Stan Band is a rhythm and blues band founded in 2007. The band is made up of Ted Loughry's amazing lead guitar, John "Machine Gun" Gallagher on bass, Vic Prep on Keyboards, and Mark Marusin on drums. Our award winning horn section is the finest in the Rocky Mountain region.
The band has a unique blend of soulful blues, R & B, and rock. Ted's phenomenal guitar work blends perfectly with John's classic bass lines and Mark’s foot-stomping drum beats. The King Stan horn section was voted best Horns by the Colorado Blues Society.
The King Stan Band has shared the stage with many greats including; Marshall Tucker, Delbert McClinton, 10,000 Maniacs, and many more. Along with many originals, the band also performs unique arrangements of songs by Tedeschi/Trucks, Delbert McClinton, Black Joe Lewis and Buddy Miles. As one of Colorado’s finest Rhythm and Blues bands, they can be found performing at multiple venues in the Front Range and mountain areas.
