Jimmi & The Band Of Souls

Jimmi and the Band of Souls is a high-energy, soulful, award-winning blues and American roots band from Minnesota.

They play boogie-woogie. They play slow and lonely. They play toe tappin’, deep groovin’, and hard drivin’. They’ll lift your spirits with their contagious energy.

The band is committed to hosting at least one benefit a year. In 2022, they raised over $11,000 for the people of Ukraine. In 2023, they hosted a benefit for the Takoda Institute, a Native American school in Minneapolis. “It’s about giving back,” says Jimmi. “While we have breath, let’s use our talents to create community and build a better world for all of us.”

Jimmi and the Band of Souls are Jimmi Langemo (vocals, guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, mandolin, banjo, percussion), Charlie "Sugar Chuck" Lacy (guitar, slide guitar), Tom Kochie (backing vocals, guitar, slide guitar), Mick Zampogna (organ, piano, accordion), Steve "Dancin’" Hansen (backing vocals, bass) and Brian Engen (drums).
