About Three On A String
In 2021, Three on a String celebrated 50 years in the entertainment business, a remarkable feat in today’s fast changing society. They have received a number of accolades, including membership in the Alabama Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2010 and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 2023.
Jerry, Bobby, Brad and Andy have performed with symphony orchestras in several states including a nine city tour with the Alabama Symphony, opening for Bill Cosby, Red Skelton, George Bush, Ronald Reagan, Barbara Mandrel, Hank Williams Jr., The Oak Ridge Boys, The Statler Brothers, Jeff Foxworthy, George Lindsey, Ray Stevens, and many more top stars. They have traveled the country from Miami, FL to Portland, OR to Saskatchewan, Canada. Add in concerts for art councils, Chambers of Commerce, Conventions, Landmark Theatres, festivals and city celebrations and you have a busy schedule for these veteran entertainers.
The group features lively acoustic music and three part harmonies in a number of genres ranging from folk and bluegrass to country and big band, and combines that with a unique brand of comedy to make for an unforgettable entertainment experience.
As TOAS puts it, "Let’s have some fun!"
