Taylor Hughes, better known as her stage moniker pure xtc, grew up in Baltimore, MD where she honed her skills behind the drum kit and began touring the united states and Canada in 2010. Fast forward a decade and a global pandemic, Hughes is stepping into a new world as a solo artist.

On March 1st, Alternative pop artist, pure xtc unveiled "Fall Apart," a mesmerizing single accompanied by a thought-provoking short film. This release signifies the inception of a compelling trilogy, a series of short films that will unfold throughout the year, ultimately leading to pure xtc’s debut full-length album. Additionally, pure xtc's music has been featured on Fox 21. pure xtc's track "get lost" is featured in the upcoming feature film "Midwest Skidmark," which is slated to hit film festivals in 2024.
