Poranguí

The event taking place in Fotografiska Tallinn is a journey through music, dance and soulful connections with the world-famous musician, multi-instrumentalist and healer Poranguí. Together with his life partner and liberating dance teacher Ashley Klein, the artist creates a journey, the appeal of which is a deep connection between the visible and invisible worlds. The music and dance you will experience this evening, and Poranguí's improvised live performance and Ashley's guided movement, combined with powerful visuals, promises to leave you with an unforgettable experience that will leave you feeling deeply connected to your body and soul. The ___________ “Chakaruna” concert tour is inspired by the ancient Quechua concept of “Chakaruna”, which means “Connector of the Worlds”. The word "Chaka" means "bridge" and "Runa" symbolizes "people" - connecting body and mind, visible and invisible, individual and collective levels. The artist is coming to Estonia with his own concert tour on August 8, 2024, and the event will take place in the lower hall of Fotografiska Tallinn on the entire lower floor from 19:00 - 22:00. The artist will open the event with a joint voice opening session from his Music is Medicine retreats (This year's retreat in Estonia July 30 - August 4, 2024). This mini-workshop before the start of the concert teaches and inspires you to see your body as a musical instrument - where rhythm, sound and movement create a polyrhythmic dance.
