About this concert
After a massive year in 2023 playing shows across Australia & New Zealand, Austin Mackay announces his first ever regional Australian headline tour. Fresh off the road supporting the likes of Morgan Evans and Brad Cox, Austin is well and truly making his mark as “the new kid on the block” in Australian country music, with his charming stage prescence and poignant storytelling having quickly struck a chord with working-class, country music fans across the homeland.
The ‘Live & Acoustic’ tour will see the up-and-coming Singer/Songwriter grace the stage for 15 intimate, regional shows across June & July, bringing with him a collection of brand new songs and stories, along with some old favourites.

Austin Mackay Biography
Hailing from Newcastle NSW, Austin Mackay is known for his diverse approach to songwriting that seamlessly blends heartfelt folk melodies with a dynamic country/rock energy. Drawing on the influences of James Bay, John Mayer and Chris Stapleton, Austin spent years crafting his own fusion of country/folk/rock, brought to life through his raw storytelling and captivating deliveries.
Austin’s charming stage presence has seen him support the likes of Morgan Evans, Brad Cox, The Dreggs, Kim Churchill and Thirsty Merc (to name a few), as well as playing at a number of renowned Australian festivals including 'Byron Bay Bluesfest' and 'Springtime Festival'. With his natural ability to delight audiences, Austin is no stranger to the stage, having been living out of his van on the road for the past three years, playing sold-out shows across Australia and New Zealand.
The lure of Austin’s music can be felt across mediums, with his discography gaining more than 2 million streams on Spotify alone, in his first years releasing music. The past year has seen Austin deliver a number of new tracks in singles 'Call Me Lover, 'Real Life' and ‘Rivers’, all highlighting different sonic strengths in the lead up to his latest release, the country/folk anthem that is ‘Hearts On Fire’.
