Get ready, Samuel Chase Elementary School! Uncle Devin will be bringing so fun with the first-ever back-to-back assemblies! He's looking forward to seeing all the smiling faces! The Uncle Devin Show® is an interactive musical experience for children by renowned drummer, Devin Walker. Uncle Devin and 25 other artists are members of the 1 Tribe Collective whose album “All One Tribe” was GRAMMY - nominated for Best Children’s Music Album in 2022. The entire family will experience the rhythm of Uncle Devin’s infectious blend of Jazz, Funk, and DC’s official music, Go-Go. The show cultivates the minds of children through percussion instruments and is a dynamic cross between DC’s Trouble Funk and Schoolhouse Rock. Uncle Devin is also a Teaching Artist with both the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning and Teaching for Change and owner of the children’s online music platform, WEE Nation Radio.
