In 2022, Hogo Fogo was nominated for the "best new artist" grammy at the Danish Music Awards for their debut album - Repeat.
The four musicians in Hogo Fogo have a natural and effortless musical understanding that more than often transcends musical genres.
Hogo Fogo’s unique sound draws inspiration from the melodies of Nordic Folk, the American Jazz tradition, and the energy of West African Funk. The band themselves describes their music as a transcendent blend of Jazz and Worldbeat Instrumental music.
