About this concert
Die Indie-Rock-Band Gilded Forest aus Peking, China ist für ein Konzert zu Gast in Ingolstadt. Die international besetzte Band wurde Ende 2021 gegründet und ihr erstes Album (EP) wurde im April 2022 veröffentlicht. Gilded Forest integrieren die frei fließenden Rhythmen der Volksmusik mit pulsierenden Synthesizern und stark verzerrten Gitarren. Sie interpretieren gefühlvolle Balladen in einem Rockkontext neu.

gilded forest are an indie rock band formed in Beijing, China, and now spending their time in Berlin.
The band was established at the end of 2021, with their first self-titled EP released in April 2022.
They integrate the free-flowing rhythms of folk music, bringing them into a space filled with pulsating synthesisers and heavily distorted guitars, reimagining heartfelt ballads in a rock context.
gilded forest was shortlisted in the Top 30 musicians of the # Wild Hunt New Voice # program, cohosted by China’s Biede Records and Jägermeister. Their songs were also listed in U.K publication The Guardian’s Best Songs of 2022 list.
They are: Vocals/Guitar: Queyue Guitar/Synths: Dawei Drums: Pai Pai
