Show of Hands

Farewell concert amongst friends in Devon and beyond. Sold out as expected. Beautiful venue for gig. Band accompanied by choir, accordionist and long-term partner, Miranda Sykes for many songs recounting their history. All very poignant and personal and musically excellent. If I were to criticise, a little light on the audience engagement, rousing songs side ( except Cousin Jack) but I understand their focus for this gig. Access to loos whilst major Catherdral refurb underway, limited, and they could have made more of the refreshments opportunity but these are just niggles for niggles sake. Looking forward to seeing more solo efforts.
