Doet de naam Sennek u nog een belletje rinkelen?
Het is de artiestennaam van Laura Groeseneken. In 2018 vertegenwoordigde ze ons land op het Eurovisiesongfestival in Lissabon met het nummer ‘A matter of time’ wat ze samen met Alex Callier (Hooverphonic) schreef.
Maar Laura (Sennek) is veel meer dan dat ene songfestivalnummer. Zo deelde ze onder meer het podium met Ozark Henry, Daan, Mauro, Tom Helsen, André Brasseur en Willy Sommers.
Met deze tour brengt Sennek haar favoriete Eurovisie songfestivalnummers in haar eigen stijl. Denk aan de klassieke songs van het bekende festival, maar zonder glitter en vuurwerk. Cosy, warmte, gezelligheid en intimiteit zijn de kernwoorden van dit unieke optreden. De nummers bewerkte ze zorgvuldig samen met getalenteerde pianist Didier Deruyter, waarmee ze eerder al het podium deelde tijdens hun tour voor Ozark Henry. De muzikale begeleiding wordt verzorgd door Christophe Devisscher op contrabas en Toon Van Dionant op drums.

Sennek (Laura Groeseneken, born 1990) is a Belgian singer songwriter who achieved national recognition when she represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2018.
She has a rich collaboration history with other notable Belgian artists such as Ozark Henry, with whom she toured extensively, performing at the Rock Werchter festival and she was part of AKS, a dubstep collective which also toured around the world.
Sennek is a passionate singer and songwriter in a contemporary style featuring soul, electronic and pop elements. After a long period of introspection and creation, with the world opening up, now is the time to reveal this new music and share it with her fans.
