Vibe Factor

With their new trio project "vibe factor", Diego Piñera (drums, percussion), Omar Sosa (grand piano, synthesiser) and Joo Kraus (trumpet, vocals, effects) embark on an extraordinary musical journey that takes them all over the globe. "Vibe factor" is a magical trio, you can really feel the flow, the shared vibes -the chemistry is right here! Together, the three of them try out new things, improvise, mix up the roles and brew new, colourful recipes. They use electronic instruments, a grand piano in their midst, Uruguayan drums and polyrhythms, build sub basses and drum sounds with the trumpet. In some songs, Odd Metersand hip-hop beats are used, in others the trio takes a trip into the Latin American music of Brazil and Uruguay. The self-titled "three smile vibe" always resonates: good humour and good, groovy vibes that sometimes invite you to enjoy, sometimes to dance and reliably put a smile on your face. All these ingredients and experiments form the trio's creative, cross-genre sound and infectious energy.
