Wow, I was lucky enough to win some tickets for this concert and I really enjoyed listening to John Oates sing in person. He’s an amazing singer and humble soul.

Born in New York City, his family moved to a small town outside of Philadelphia, PA in the early 1950s. Since then John's life has paralleled the evolution of Rock and American Popular music. He was influenced by the early rock and rhythm and blues artists as well as the nascent roots music of the 1960s folk revival, as well as bluegrass, delta blues, and ragtime. His solo work is an amalgamation of all his early influences as a part of Nashville's Americana Music community. John continues to tour worldwide with an intimate acoustic songs and stories performance that has garnered rave reviews.
