In a past life, Kiley and Ryan were bandmates in a rock n' roll band. Little did they know how much they had in common at the time. One night, in the most country-ass fashion ever, they went catfishing and got to drinking some beers and talking about the music they grew up on. They bonded over Marty Robbins and shot around the idea of having a classic country music jam someday.

Fast forward a year and over a winter of boredom, they started pickin'. They both quickly realized how much fun they had noodling around on the old classics, and they kept jamming and jamming. Soon enough, Drunk Uncle was born. They started playing shows all across Central Minnesota and haven't slowed down since.

What makes Drunk Uncle different from most bands? Quite simply, it's a deep love and respect for the songs that they play. No offense, but you ain't gonna hear any Top 40 Pop Country out of these boys. They play what speaks to them.

Despite having an extensive setlist spanning the early days of Country & Western to Classic Country and modern-day Americana, each song had to go through the wringer to even be considered in the set. If Drunk Uncle plays a song, you can bet your ass they love that song and it means something to them. And it shows in the way they play 'em.

Drunk Uncle is an evolving act that has the capability to play a solo acoustic show, acoustic duo show, or full-blown honky-tonk country music full band show.
