About this concert
A Night for Guy is Houston’s celebration of the life and songs of Guy Clark.
Part musical showcase, part intimate vigil, A Night for Guy explores pieces of Houston’s musical past and delights in local performers defining the city’s present. A not-for-profit event, A Night for Guy fairly compensates all performers and donates proceeds to Soldier Songs & Voices as well as other organizations working to preserve and elevate Houston music history.

Owen Temple Biography
With grit and a grin, Texas-based singer/songwriter Owen Temple comes barreling out of the Lone Star state with his new album Two Thousand Miles. The record, produced by famed Texas-music legend Lloyd Maines (Dixie Chicks, Terri Hendrix, Terry Allen), is a dusty backroads blend of heartache and hope. The album is being released on a staggered schedule. It's been available since late summer as a digital download on LoneStarTunes.com and will be released on iTunes in December. The physical record releases nationally on Jan. 22, 2008.
