About this concert
Grammy-winning Spanish guitarist Diego Garcia returns to the Annex for a night of unbridled rhythm with members of his new collective: Adrian Buono & Jose Agote of the band Los Pinguos of Argentina and Jason Tamba & Mermans Mosengo of Afro Fiesta from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Inspired by world travels and artistic encounters, this one-of-a-kind show is a spectacular mix of South American cumbia, Congolese Rumba, Flamenco, and Garcia’s own Latin Rockabilly twang.

Los Silverbacks is a World music collective based in Los Angeles. Inspired by world travels, their eclectic rhythms genuinely reflect their Latin, Spanish and African roots. From Congolese rumba, through South American cumbia to Rockabilly... they make music from the heart, with a single mission: bringing people together around music and dance.
