The final night of T. Thomason's Tuesday night November residency at Hugh's Room Live, 296 Broadview Avenue, Toronto, ON! As November draws to a close, the residency concludes on November 28th with opening act MBG, full band headlining act from T. Thomason, and awe-inspiring drag performances from Gay Jesus. This final night promises to be a grand finale, celebrating queer & trans joy, and the power of artistic expression. Doors @ 7pm, show @ 8pm PWYC tickets available for trans folks. T. Thomason has captured audiences with high energy, emotional indie pop performances in Canada and beyond since his teenage years. A passionate advocate for queer/trans rights, T. aims to create life affirming, joyful experiences for his community (& everyone else) through music. His songs build from ballad to banger, balance confession, confrontation & resolution, & lay it all bare. MBG is an alt-rock project of multi-instrumentalist Leena Rodriguez. Alongside her co-producer and engineer Phil Hirst, Leena writes, performs, and produces all of the project's music. Blending both the hard and edgy sounds of Alt-Rock with infectious Pop melodies. And while Leena is not performing as MBG, she had built a buzz in the scene as a hired gun multi-instrumentalist playing Bass, Drums, guitar, and background vocals for Toronto’s own breakout artists; Housewife, Ruby Waters, and many other local talents. The One and Holy Gay Jesus is an internationally recognized drag king serving up a mouth-watering communion of Latinx wine and non-binary bread. Born of virgin-ish loins and baptized in sex-appeal, he’s best known for his multidisciplinary protest pieces decked out in draglesque. Featured on Season 1 of CBC Arts’ docu-series Canada’s a Drag, Gay Jesus has been at the forefront of the Drag King and Burlesque scenes in Toronto, Canada throughout his career.
