superstar

superstar is a rock duo from Athens, Georgia. Aaron White and Bennett Evans began playing together when they were in middle school and have been writing and performing music together in different bands ever since. The band has released three singles so far since its launch in late 2025, and has garnered the attention of Flagpole, Earmilk, and Spotify’s “fresh finds folk” Editorial Playlist. As of late, superstar has been playing nearly every weekend in a new city, sometimes with nationally touring acts, and they have no plans of slowing down. They’ll be supported by The Band Honey. The Band Honey, made up of Wilson Gore (vocals/rhythm guitar), Curry Jones (lead guitar), Jack Andrews (bass), and Liam Spokes (vocals/drums), formed out of a shared love of creating music for and with people. Taking inspiration from 80s staples such as Tears for Fears and new beach-rock mainstays like Ocean Alley, they blend nostalgic guitars with soul-like groove and contemplative lyrics. Since their debut single, “Still Got Time”, the band has consistently grown, playing shows year-round. Releasing their most recent single, “Tongue Tied”, on March 28th, the band had a show-filled summer that culminated in the release of their first EP Anemoia in early September.
