E.M.E (Emmanuel Nwaneto) is a Nigerian-born Afrofusion artist based in Denver, Colorado. Born in Kano, Nigeria, E.M.E immigrated to the United States at age seven after his family fled violence in the region. Growing up in Denver’s Montbello neighborhood shaped his perspective as both an African immigrant and American creative.

Originally pursuing football, he earned a scholarship to Colorado State University before COVID ended his college athletic career. The transition pushed him back toward music full-time, where he developed his unique sound blending Afrobeats, hip-hop, amapiano, dance, and global influences.
