Biografía del artista
DJ HABIBEATS is a DJ and producer crafting culturally rich soundscapes that bridge traditional Arabic and Middle
Eastern influences and the pulse of global club culture. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, the
Palestinian-American artist is leading a new wave of music with a sound that celebrates the diaspora, tradition,
diversity, and above all, movement.
After earning a law degree and passing the California Bar Exam, DJ HABIBEATS quickly realized his passion was
better served on the dancefloor than it ever would have been in the court room or behind a desk. Ibrahim Abu-Ali,
aka DJ HABIBEATS, honed his skills behind the decks playing open-format at clubs around the Bay Area, where his
innate ability to read the crowd quickly made him a cult-favorite. Meanwhile, he quickly became a breakout success
on social media with his series “Songs You Probably Didn’t Know Were Samples” earning him a massive 1.2 million
followers on TikTok virtually overnight. His blend of traditional sounds drawn directly from his own heritage and the
high-powered urgency of today’s dance music, DJ HABIBEATS was quickly sowing the seeds for an entirely new
sound in the scene that couldn’t be ignored. Continuing to break the mold, he started “Habibi’s House”
– his vibrant
event series that celebrates traditions, sound and feelings from cultures around the world. More than just a party
series, Habibi’s House is a cultural tapestry of global sound, rooted in one purpose: bringing community together to
dance.
As he continues to utilize music, dance and togetherness to champion inclusivity, unity and innovation across the
scene, DJ HABIBEATS has carved out a unique space for himself and he’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime
soon. In 2025, he toured in over 25 countries, reimagining nostalgic Arabic melodies through the lens of modern
genres like Amapiano, Baile Funk, Jersey Club, Afro House, and Miami Bass. From selling out venues like The
Hollywood Palladium and Fabric London, to collaborations with Billboard, Apple Music, Spotify and more, DJ
HABIBEATS was named as one of Shazam’s Fast Forward 2026 Artists – a promising start to the monumental
year ahead. 2026 will see a Coachella debut on the DoLab stage on April 18, the release of his inaugural EP
this spring. He will also play his largest show to date, as he brings Habibi’s House to Los Angeles’s iconic Shrine
Expo Hall on Friday, May 1. With community, identity and authenticity at the core of his work, DJ HABIBEATS isn’t
just embellishing the scene with traditional sounds, he’s pioneering a movement that puts cultural influence at the
forefront.
