YMIR

The Producer/Vocalist YMIR started his project with one goal in mind: to merge all his musical tastes together. Harnessing the powers of alternative, rock, dark pop and bass music he creates a unique vocal-led style that blurs the lines between beautiful and destructive. His haunting, yet powerful voice allows the fluid flexibility to liaise between somber ballads and aggressive anthems while keeping his mystical signature intact.

After winning Apashe’s remix contest in 2021, YMIR debuted to a massive year with over 1.5 million Spotify streams, while also performing alongside Apashe on tour and for Valorant’s France Championship. Since then, YMIR has released a string of hits both independently, as well as with labels like Monstecat and Kannibalen Records, whom he officially signed with in 2023. He’s also collaborated with talents like Black Tiger Sex Machine, Kai Wachi, INHUMAN & more.

Despite YMIR being shrouded in mystery he wears his heart on his sleeve, opening himself up musically to his die-hard community that connects to his deeply human sentiments and emotions. With everything he does from performing to creating and interacting with his community, YMIR gives his all in a way that is as vulnerable as it is meaningfully profound.
