Mars God

MARS GOD is a post-rock/metal trio from Austin, TX that blends tense prog rock atmospheres, driving nu-metal rhythms, and powerful groove metal riffs into their own unique brand of sonic intensity, punctuated by lyrics that weave powerful and often deeply personal stories. While often labelled as "metal," Mars God rides the line between heavier and more melodic sounds, valuing the interplay of balancing dark and light elements in what they write, exploring both the "ugly" and the "beautiful." The band is currently in the process of finalizing their upcoming EP "777," an album that tells stories of psychic connections, religious hypocrisy, and vampire blood raves.
