Jai'Len Josey

Jai’Len Josey dedicates body, mind, and soul to every song she writes and performs. She flaunts seismic vocals with passion and power, but she also tells stories with an author’s attention-to-detail and an empath’s heightened sensitivity. The Atlanta native cut her teeth on Broadway as “Pearl” in The SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage! in addition to honing her talents as a writer by penning hundreds of songs. However, she formally introduced her vision with 2020’s Illustrations EP. In the wake of the project’s independent success, she signed to Def Jam Recordings. Gaining even more momentum, she leveled up on 2023’ SOUTHERN DELICACY EP. Beyond generating millions of streams, it incited the applause of Rated R&B, YouKnowIGotSoul, Essence Girls United, and Okay Player who proclaimed, “Up next, we’re putting our stamp of approval on Jai’Len Josey’s soulful debut Southern Delicacy.” Along the way, she co-wrote two tracks from Ari Lennox’s Age/Sex/Location, including the gold-certified “Pressure.” Continuing this creative collaboration, Lennox notably tapped her as support on the ensuing Age/Sex/Location Tour. In 2025, Jai’Len ’s stunning voice, captivating storytelling, and impeccable curation bring Serial Romantic to life introduced by the seductive single “New Girl.”
