Beautiful OG Hardcore moment with this show. Finally got to see Judge and Integrity. Was my 3rd time seeing Earth Crisis and Combust. 2nd time seeing Square One. First time seeing Time X Heist. Now to get into the sets. Time X Heist was pretty cool. They did their thing. Got to get your 2 Step moves up for them. Then Square One. They were awesome. Can't sleep on them. Smooth dancing vibes. More 2 step vibes. Then the all around and dope Combust. Their sets are always dope since they have Mosh parts and 2 step parts if people understand and listen to rhythm. So, Combust is Self Explanatory. On top of the Dance and Rhythm parts, you can always expect a good ol' pile-on and microphone togetherness. Next is Earth Crisis. Think of Combust's sets times 10. For the older folks and those that just aren't hip to Hardcore(Hardcore Punk), their set popped off. They probably were the heaviest band on the bill. Since, they're just straightforward Metallic Hardcore or Metalcore with some OG Hardcore Punk rhythm. So, their sound is more consistent with musically transparent and heavy breakdowns or modern mosh parts. Next, the almighty Integrity. Their set was nostalgic and so worth it for me. You can hear their contributions to the Metalcore subgenre live. Their set was awesome. Pile-on. Screaming into the microphone. Stage diving. Hardcore Punk vibes. Check them out. And last but not least, the VIPs, the MVPs, the New York OGs, Judge. Sing-alongs were the vibes for the whole show. Pile-ons. Etc. But Judge brought back the OG non Screamed vocal vibes, which is a lost art kind of. But it's all love. Hardcore Punk is Hardcore Punk even as it has evolved and integrated itself with Metal, Hip-Hop, and more. Judge's set was awesome. You just had to be there. As always, Be sure to support the bands and the venue as well. Leave your comments. Share it around. Do your own Reviews as well.
