Mikky & the Doom Biography
Aptly described by KUTX as sounding "like The Strokes woke up with a little extra dissonance in their system, heavily-processed instrumentation, pop-informed production, radio-ready brevity and all," Austin-based Mikky & the Doom have already made a splash with their debut EP Garbage, USA, produced by Last Gang Records’ Mobley. With a sound that combines the anthemic swagger of Yeah Yeah Yeahs with the cheeky rumble of Mclusky and the ferocious sex positivity of Peaches, Mikky & The Doom are out to prove Austin can out sleaze NYC in the indie sleaze sweepstakes.
