About this concert
Off the back of a North America and European tour with Midnight Oil, Liz Stringer announces a string of headline shows in Victoria and New South Wales in August. Liz and her band will perform songs from her most recent, and critically acclaimed album, First Time Really Feeling as well as some from her earlier releases. This will be the first time performing her newest album to audiences in New South Wales after multiple covid-reschedules and these will be the only headline band shows for Liz Stringer in 2022.

Liz Stringer Biography
Melbourne born, London based musician Liz Stringer has become one of Australia’s most admired and versatile songwriters and instrumentalists over a 6 album career. Stringer is a venerated guitarist and vocalist, her powerful live performances and melodically rich, story-based songs delighting fans and festival-goers throughout Australia and a growing audience in North America and Europe.
A notoriously witty and engaging performer and a natural storyteller, Stringer’s work has been shortlisted for the prestigious Australian Music Prize and has received the respect and endorsement from some of the folk/roots scene’s most influential musicians, including legends Midnight Oil, Jackson Browne and the inimitable Bonnie Raitt.
