ABOUT NATHAN LEONG
Nathan Leong, originally from Puerto Rico, arrived in New York in the mid-2000s and immediately immersed himself in the city’s thriving nightlife and music scene. Over the past decade, he has excelled in various fields, including music and concert production, event creation and management, and the opening of nightclubs and bars.
Nathan’s creative vision has enabled him to deliver some of the most unforgettable VIP lifestyle experiences. Notoriety Group, his concierge and lifestyle company, was enlisted in 2015 to market, promote, and manage the Main Stage VIP Table Deck at Electric Zoo Festival, the largest electronic music festival in New York City.
In 2019, Nathan and his partner Sameer Qureshi founded El Grupo SN, which will unveil Somewhere Nowhere NYC, the most anticipated nightclub, lounge, and rooftop pool of 2021. Currently, Somewhere Nowhere NYC boasts the highest nightclub and rooftop pool in all of New York.
El Grupo SN has another exciting project on the horizon, Gamehaus, set to open in the fall of 2021 in Long Island City. Gamehaus is a new family-friendly sporting club and restaurant, featuring a beer hall, live entertainment, and an arcade room.
Nathan Leong’s exceptional creativity and hospitality industry expertise have established him as one of New York City’s most skilled entrepreneurs. In 2022, Nathan launched Forest Döwn Under DJ and party brand under Somewhere Nowhere NYC to continue his pursuit of curating immersive music-driven events featuring some of the world’s most prominent international DJs, including Loco Dice, Gordo, Shimza, Ilario Alicante, Francis Mercier, Mau P, Agents Of Time, Mathame, MK, Birds of Mind, Sparrow & Barbossa, Korolova, Kolsch, Art Department, Cloonee, Gorgon City and many more.
