At university she taught herself acoustic guitar and began songwriting but was convinced creating music was only a private hobby as she explored more stable, lucrative lifestyles.In the fall of 2012, Brooklyn NY, Teena started songwriting in earnest. After wrestling with her identity as an artist over 10+ years it all came together Spring of 2022 at a near empty open mic in New Orleans. She realized sharing song stories is not a choice - its her calling, never again to be ignored.Teena has performed her extensive Country, Pop, Folk and Americana catalogue in Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York City, New Orleans, LA, Nashville, TN and Paris, France.
