CLAY

CLAY is a Christian music group based in the Washington, DC area. The group is a collection of musicians who have been working together in various forms for many years. Most members have been singing together since college and some since childhood. Our primary focus is sharing music that reflects an honest desire for spiritual growth with messages that will point listeners to Christ and His gift of salvation and restoration.

The name, CLAY, is a reminder of both our origin and purpose -- the Creator who breathed life into dust [clay] desires to fill His weak, imperfect vessels with His Spirit.

“Love’s Song” is the debut album by CLAY releasing in the fall of 2023. The group consists of 5 singers, Brittny, Kristyn, Dalonne, Saara and Dwight and resident composer/arranger Colville.

As the title suggests, the songs on this project center on the theme of Love, using familiar spiritual and secular themes (romance, commitment, sacrifice, longing, infidelity, forgiveness, joy, hope, disappointment, etc…) to explore one’s relationship with God and our own personal relationships. The original songs on this project are written in a way that will allow listeners to find spiritual meaning through shared, common experiences.
