Soular System

Soular System is a soul duo based in Long Beach, California, comprised of Tom Kendall as the composer/producer/drummer, and Anthony Lynn as the vocalist. Together, they write lyrics reflecting life experience in reverence to nature and the cosmos.

To bring their spacey sound to life on stage, Tom arranges music to be played by various combinations of professional LA musicians. The band can range from a duo set with Tom playing drums and Djing while Anthony sings, to an 11 piece ensemble consisting of electric harp, flute, electric violin, percussion, guitar, keys, synth, bass, and back up vocals. The ever-changing ensemble keeps the music flowing organically in response to the stage space, sound system, and vibe of each venue.

With a constantly expanding sound and inspiration, Soular System aims to remind the listener of human's place in the universe.
