Chris Gethard Biography
I started doing comedy in New York a week after my 20th birthday.
I've done a ton of improv. Now I do a ton of stand up. I also host The Chris Gethard Show, which is my pride and joy. I'm also the host of the Beautiful/Anonymous podcast, which has connected me with people all over the year. Career Suicide is an off-Broadway show I did that was turned into an HBO special. I am a hard working guy who's also gotten lucky.
Sometimes I play colleges. Sometimes I play peoples' living rooms. I don't care. I just want to connect with people and make them laugh. I want people to have a better day than they were having if they see me do comedy. I want to feel some connection with people by getting their laughs. I will do comedy literally anywhere.
