Four top-class thrash metal bands will visit Munich's Backstage Club on Friday, October 25, 2024: Munich local heroes RED TO GREY, OUT OF ORDER from the Heilbronn area, MORTE SILMORIS from Hungary and SPLICER, who are also based in Munich. Classic bay area metal à la Death Angel or Forbidden, spiced up with a pinch of Nevermore - that's probably the best way to describe RED TO GREY's music. Powerful riffs, catchy hooklines with an earworm character and lots of melodic guitar solos are perfectly complemented by the absolutely convincing voice of singer Gaby Weihmayer, which is quite unique in the genre. The recent RED-TO-GREY album "Balance Of Power" has been available worldwide since October 2021 via El Puerto Records. Over the course of their 26-year existence, the band has played numerous shows. They frequently supported well-known acts such as Vicious Rumors, Helstar, Equilibrium, Brainstorm, Debauchery, Tankard, Death Angel and many more. OUT OF ORDER were founded in August 1991 in the Heilbronn area. Over the years, the band has developed into a top act in the Swabian metal scene. With their style, that can be described as a mixture of melodic power and thrash metal, the five guys were able to steadily increase their fan base. Highlights in the band's history include live gigs as support for well-known acts such as Bonfire, Depressive Age, Metallium, Pyogenesis, Majesty, Brainstorm and The New Black. MORTE SILMORIS from Hungary are veterans of the scene as well. The band was founded in 2003 and has been making a name for itself for around six years with melodic thrash metal the likes of Megadeth, Kreator or old Metallica. As openers, SPLICER will serve you a good dose of Motörhead-like party and beer-drinking metal. Quite logical, by the way, for what better way could there be to start a high-class thrash metal evening?
